- Call for Suturday august 27 to 10.30
Connecting and protecting, sustaining growth and promoting development. These are the keywords summarising the great significance of the Adriatic macroregional strategy, whose path towards definitive implementation is finally underway. The EU’s recognition of a macro-regional strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian area represents an important opportunity to share development policies, focus Europe’s attention on its southeast side, and translate into practice the concepts of territorial cohesion, environmental protection, and sustainable economic and social growth in a path involving all communities concerned. “The Adriatic-Ionian macro-region for the development of Europe” represents a great opportunity for citizens to come into contact with experiences thus far acquired, by means of an exhibition ‘relating’ the building stages of the macro-region. This strategy is one we firmly believe in, certain of the need for decisive action to achieve greater economic, social and cultural cooperation amongst countries in the area.
