The statistics have been published in the July 27th Ewea (European Wind Energy Association) press release: the document shows, as well, that 11 eolic power plants are being developed offshore in Europe. These plants cost 8.5 billion euro and have a production capacity of 2.844 MW.

Ewea report take stocks of the situation of the eolic offshore in Europe at June 30th 2011. Have been installed 49 power plants in 8 countries of Ue: the turbines are 1.247, with a production capacity of 3.294 MW.
