Through the development of sophisticated mathematical models and data that will be collected from the network of anemometers that will be built along both coasts of the Adriatic sea, the project aims to assess whether and where there are wind conditions and environmental sustainability to verify the feasibility to build offshore wind farms also in the Adriatic sea. This in order to increase significantly the contribution of renewable energy in the macro-region Adriatic-Ionian of the European Union.
